A CLAUDE.md configuration for sales teams. Sets CRM conventions, outreach writing tone, deal stage definitions, forecast accuracy rules, and meeting prep protocols. Instructs the agent to always reference pipeline data, avoid generic language, and produce outputs that map to your sales process.

# CLAUDE.md — Sales Team Config

## CRM Conventions
- All contacts must have: company, title, source, and lead score
- Deal stages: Prospecting → Discovery → Proposal → Negotiation → Closed
- Never move a deal forward without completing stage exit criteria
- Update forecast notes every Friday by 3pm

## Outreach Style
- Write like a helpful peer, not a salesperson
- First line must reference something specific about the prospect
- No "just checking in" or "circling back" — always lead with value
- Max email length: 150 words. Max follow-up sequence: 5 touches

## Meeting Prep Protocol
Before every call, prepare:
1. Company overview (industry, size, funding, recent news)
2. Attendee LinkedIn summaries
3. Open deals and past interactions in CRM
4. 3 tailored discovery questions
5. One relevant case study to reference

## Forecasting Rules
- Commit only deals with verbal agreement + timeline
- Best case: deals with champion identified
- Pipeline: everything else above 20% probability
